We are seeking a Brake Press Operator to join our team! This position must make sure the machines are set up properly, make adjustments to the machines to control speed, material feed, the path of the shape or bend and produce a quality product.
Must be able to read and understand detailed blueprints to form finished products.
This is a middle-level position.
This is full-time, hourly position located in Norwood, NC.
Hours are Monday - Friday 3:
00 pm - 11:
30 pm, with some variations depending on need.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Must demonstrate the technical skills and ability to set-up and operate a Brake Press.
Must be able to visualize the design features in appearance, breaks, spot-welds, etc.
Must be able to convert fractions to decimal points and back.
Must comply with all applicable Quality, Manufacturing, and Safety Procedures.
Is responsible for performing operator level maintenance.
Must be able to read:
Fabrication drawings.
Work instructions.
A tape measure.
A square.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Problem solving skills Following of safe work practices such as LOTO, PPE, Fall Protection Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical drawings Thorough knowledge of machine line equipment such as brake presses, shears and material handling equipment Attention to detail Strong machining, hydraulic, and mechanical skills Physical Demands:
