Onsite - Mechanical Engineer

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their plant in Norwood, NC this plant is responsible for manufacturing aircraft tires.
This position will include aspects of project management, technical specification, design, analysis, installation management, equipment start-up and manufacturing.
This engineer will be expected to spend a solid amount of time in hands-on activities.
Interaction with all levels of employees, and some responsibilities over contractors working on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Create initial designs, assist to define functional specifications for new machines and systems, develop estimates and budget, assure procurement of parts and systems, monitors mechanical equipment fabrication, conduct vendor/contractor management- Have hands-on involvement with equipment and processes by being available to the operators and maintenance personnel and gaining detailed knowledge of the process- Participate in all facets of project management- Provide a liaison between facility engineering, central quality, methods and purchasing teams, and equipment suppliers to assure good mutual system requirement understandingPlusses:
- Experience performing management duties over a small team- AutoCAD Mechanical latest version - Experience in tire and/or rubber manufacturing environmentMust Haves:
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering w/ 4
years professional exp - IF NO DEGREE THEY NEED equivalent exp (5-10 years working in the industry/relatable role)- Solidworks 3D design experience (MUST have 3D) - Able to exemplify and explain Project Management skills (small projects okay wont be working on anything over $500K) - Expereince in manufacturing/industrial equipment industry (i.
e.
, NOT pharmaceuticals, chemicals, etc.
) Recommended Skills Contractor Management Financial Management Maintenance Procurement Management Project Management Purchasing Process Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
