The Point-of-Care (POC) business develops and sustains systems for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) instruments for point of care and laboratory medical testing. Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as the R&D Team Lead, Life Cycle Management. This position is part of the Critical Care business vertical (franchise) and reports to the Head, Critical Care Systems R&D. This position is focused on our benchtop blood gas product line and is based at POC headquarters in Norwood, MA. Key Responsibilities Collect internal customer feedback to prioritize the LCM backlog consisting of platform enhancements, cost reduction proposals, corrective actions in response to field issues, new regulatory requirements, manufacturing obsolescence and manufacturing quality issues Establish global cross-functional solution teams based upon business needs Lead one or more cross-functional (chemistry, electrical, mechanical, software, systems) agile scrum or Kanban teams Accountable for the overall delivery of LCM projects and investigations Drive cross-functional technical and business decisions Clearly and concisely communicate project status and escalate unresolved team impediments Engage new product development teams to share learnings and coordinate the transition to commercial support Education, Experience, and Knowledge/Skills BS/MS in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 10
years' work experience in a combination of technical product development, sustenance, or manufacturing roles 5
years' experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industry preferred Strong Project Management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Operate flexibly in an environment with competing priorities Exhibit a bias toward action, balanced by strong analytical decision-making skills Able to lead and influence development or problem-solving teams Knowledge of agile, lean and/or six sigma processes preferred
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
